Meet in the Middle

Collaborative performance with Lindsey Whittle. We took inspiration from the Das Triadische Ballet/Triadic Ballet of the Bauhaus and each made a physical object that we could collaboratively wear together. Lindsey made wearable wire hoops and I made the two-person stuffed object. We then came together and performed in these pieces collectively, taking fragments of movement phrases and music from the Triadic Ballet, performing them in unison. This piece was the opening phrase of an ongoing body of work that Lindsey and I are still cultivating together.
