Materials: 1989 US Army parachute
Model: Melanie June
Exhale Nylon is made from a parachute that transforms into a ten-foot-tall, functional tent, complete with zipper and tent poles. This garment plays with the function of clothing, transforming it into a multi-functional object instead of simply a garment to be worn.
Featured in World of Wearable Art in Wellington, New Zealand in September 2009. Also shown In Uncommon Thread in May 2011 in Baton Rouge, LA.
